1. Introduction

RunAds.ai ("we," "our," or "us") provides an AI-powered Google Ads management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service, with specific details on our compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide our service, including:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, and password to create and manage your account.
• Google User Data: When you connect your Google account, we access your Google Ads data (campaign performance, metrics, account structure) and basic profile information (name, email) via authorized API connections.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our platform, such as features used and actions taken.

3. How We Use Google User Data

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres strictly to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used solely to provide or improve the user-facing features of RunAds.ai.

Specifically, we use your Google Ads data to:

• Display Your Campaign Performance: We read your Google Ads data to show you analytics, metrics, and performance reports within your RunAds.ai dashboard.
• Provide AI-Powered Recommendations: Our AI analyzes your campaign data to generate and display optimization suggestions, keyword ideas, and budget adjustments directly to you within the app.
• Manage Campaigns at Your Direction: We create, edit, and manage your Google Ads campaigns, ad groups, and keywords when you use our campaign creation tools or approve an AI recommendation.

Limited Use Compliance

We explicitly do not use Google user data for any other purpose. This means:

• We do not transfer or sell Google user data to third parties (e.g., advertising platforms, data brokers).
• We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeting or interest-based ads.
• We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI/ML models that are not specific to your account.
• We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless we have your affirmative consent for specific messages (e.g., for customer support), it is necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

4. AI Service Disclosure

RunAds.ai uses Claude models by Anthropic as its AI service to power campaign generation, ad copy writing, performance analysis, and optimization recommendations.

When you use our AI features, your campaign data (such as keywords, ad copy, and performance metrics) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. This data is used solely to generate responses and recommendations for your account. In accordance with Anthropic's usage policies, data sent to the Claude API is not used to train Anthropic's models.

No Google user data is shared with any other third-party AI provider. Our use of Anthropic's Claude is limited to providing and improving the user-facing features of RunAds.ai, consistent with the Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use requirements.

RunAds in ChatGPT and Other AI Assistants

You can use RunAds tools inside ChatGPT and other AI assistants. When you do, we receive only what the tool needs to do its job:

• Tool inputs: what you ask the tool to work on, such as a website URL, a business description, selling points, or keywords.
• Public web pages: when a tool scans a website or audits a landing page, we fetch that public page.
• A one-way hash of your assistant user ID: ChatGPT sends an anonymized user ID with each tool call. We store only a one-way hash of it, to count free runs before asking you to connect an account.
• Usage logs: which tool ran, when, whether it succeeded, and how long it took.

We do not receive or store your conversation history. Tool inputs are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write ad copy and audits, as described in section 4. If you connect your RunAds account, tools act with that account's access. Tools that change your campaigns, such as pausing a campaign or changing a budget, show you a preview first and only make the change after you approve it. You can disconnect RunAds at any time in your assistant's app settings.

Data Retention

• Account and campaign data (your account details, campaign plans, and connected ad account access) is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account, or ask us to by emailing hello@runads.ai, we delete it within 30 days.
• Google account access is deleted when you disconnect Google or revoke access, as described in section 7.
• ChatGPT and AI assistant usage logs and hashed assistant user IDs are deleted automatically after 90 days.
• We may keep records longer where the law requires it, such as billing records.

Website Analytics and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies from Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Clarity, and DataFast to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our own advertising. These collect pages viewed, clicks and session activity, device and browser details, approximate location derived from your IP address, and timestamps. Microsoft Clarity may record anonymized sessions of how pages are used. These tools run on our website only; they are not used inside the RunAds tools in ChatGPT, and Google user data is never used for advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with trusted service providers (such as our cloud hosting provider and Anthropic for AI processing) who are contractually obligated to protect it and only use it to provide services on our behalf. We may also share data if required by law.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect your data. Google account access tokens are stored securely and encrypted at rest.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You can review, update, or delete your account information at any time. You can also revoke our access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account settings or by disconnecting the integration within RunAds.ai. Upon revocation, we will delete the associated Google user data from our systems.

9. SMS and Text Messaging

RunAds.ai offers an optional SMS-based AI assistant (Caleb AI via SMS) that allows users to manage their Google Ads campaigns via text message.

We do not share your phone number with third parties, use your phone number for marketing purposes, or sell your SMS data.
