Before you start: you need a free RunAds account (MCP included) with at least one ad account connected in your dashboard. Every account can connect and use the tools. Changes that add or raise spend, like turning on a campaign or raising a budget, need a credit balance, same as in the dashboard. Every account starts with 500 free credits.

Connect in Claude

Open Claude and go to Settings, then Connectors.
Click Add custom connector.
Paste the server URI: https://www.runads.ai/mcp/connect
A browser window opens asking you to sign in to RunAds and grant access. Review the permissions and click Allow.
Back in Claude, the RunAds connector shows as connected. Try: "How did my Google Ads perform this week?"

For Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http runads https://www.runads.ai/mcp/connect and complete the sign-in when prompted.

Connect in ChatGPT

Open ChatGPT Settings, then Connectors (requires a plan with connector support).
Choose Add connector and paste the server URI above.
Sign in with your RunAds account when the authorization window opens and click Allow Access.

No. Every write action (pause, enable, budget change, ad replacement) returns a proposal your AI must show you, and it executes only after you explicitly confirm.

Which ad accounts can my AI see?

Only the accounts connected to your own RunAds login. Tokens are scoped per user and never shared across customers.

How do I disconnect?

Remove the connector in your AI client, then revoke the connection under Dashboard, Connect AI. Revocation takes effect within a minute.
