Do I need recommendations or someone to launch campaigns?
Opteo's homepage describes improvements as recommendations "pushed live to Google Ads in seconds". That suits a person who already owns the account and wants a daily list. It assumes the campaigns exist and that someone reads the list.
RunAds starts earlier. A mission reads your site and account, plans campaigns, writes the ads and images, and stops for your approval. Google dry-runs every campaign before the launch card reaches you. Then the agent watches the account for 14 days and sends budget and bid changes back as cards. On an account you connect, approval mode is the default, so nothing changes without you.

The alternatives
RunAds
500 free creditsBest for: owners and small teams who want campaigns built and run
Agent-built Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen and Local Service Ads campaigns, with approval before launch, Ad Grades on every ad, an Account Audit, and an MCP connector for Claude and ChatGPT.
Pricing: 500 free credits (your first $100 of Google ad spend), then 5 credits per $1 of ad spend: 4 above $10,000 a month, 3.5 above $100,000, 3 above $1,000,000. Unlimited is $499 every 4 weeks, covering up to $10,000 a month of managed spend. Agencies pay from $999 a month for 5 to unlimited client accounts by tier.
Trade-off: Google Ads only in the dashboard; no Opteo-style daily list for a hands-on manager.
Optmyzr
From $209/moBest for: PPC specialists on several platforms
Rule Engine, AI Sidekick, budget monitoring and reports across Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, LinkedIn and Yahoo Japan, plus MCP access for Claude and ChatGPT. 14-day free trial, no card.
Trade-off: more to learn than Opteo, and priced by spend tier.
Adzooma

Free plan with monthly reports and opportunities; Silver $69 and Gold $179 a month add weekly or daily reports and more alerts.
Trade-off: surfaces opportunities only.
Ryze AI

Paid Ads plan at $89 a month, flat at any spend, 7-day trial, approval on every change, MCP on every plan.
Trade-off: covers many platforms; check depth on the Google campaign types you rely on.
Google's own recommendations, PMax and Smart Bidding
Free beyond spendBest for: DIY advertisers on tight budgets
Performance Max reaches all Google inventory from one campaign, and Smart Bidding sets bids per auction.
Trade-off: you build and police it yourself.
When should I stay on Opteo?
Stay if a PPC manager reviews the list every day and your campaigns are already built the way you want. Opteo is cheaper than Optmyzr at the entry tier and its Agency plan covers 75 accounts for $499 a month. If the bigger question is whether to pay for a tool, an agent or an agency, see AI vs agency.
